There is something extra special for me when I get to photograph families who have experienced a similar loss to us (read more about our parenthood journey here). Rachel and Tanner were the first parents I photographed in honor of my sweet Leo. They lost their first baby boy, Jameson. They now have two perfect, sweet, and happy rainbow babies and I have gotten to see their family grow. There is just something really magical about the joy that radiates from parents who have experienced loss. We have been through the worst and have a different appreciation for this thing called life. I cannot wait to see them tomorrow: to meet the little guy that you see in Rachel's bump in the images below and to see their sweet Daisy girl love on her little brother, August.
